Bluetooth app control

Connect with the Lotus Lantern app

Download the Lotus Lantern app and look for the multicolor icon with a white lotus symbol.

  1. Install the Lotus Lantern app.
  2. Switch on the footwell lights and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  3. Open the app near the vehicle. The app should automatically find and connect to the footwell lights.
  4. Use the color wheel, brightness control and effect list to adjust the lighting.

If the displayed colors do not match

Open the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then go to Settings → Modify Pin Sequence (sometimes shown as Adjust Line Sequence).

Set R to the third position, G to the second position and B to the first position. Tap Confirm or Save when finished.

Choose the version by your original footwell light color

First confirm that the original removable module measures 5.5 × 2.5 cm. Then switch it on and check its color before selecting your option.

Original light is white Select the Factory White Light version.

Installation

Power and on/off behavior follow the vehicle’s original footwell-light circuit. Exact behavior may vary with the Porsche model, equipment package and interior-light settings.

  1. Switch off the vehicle and allow the interior lights to turn off.
  2. Carefully remove the original footwell light module with a suitable trim tool.
  3. Release the factory connector and connect the new LED footwell light.
  4. Test the light, then return the module to the original opening.
  5. Repeat for the remaining positions and tap any light to select a mode.

Frequently asked questions

Will these lights fit my Porsche Cayenne or Macan?

Fitment is not guaranteed by the vehicle model or model year. Your Porsche must have a removable factory footwell light module, and the original module must match this product’s 5.5 × 2.5 cm dimensions. Remove and measure one original light before ordering. If you are unsure, send us a clear photo and the measurements.

Which original-light color should I select?

Switch on the factory footwell light and check the light it currently produces. Choose Factory White Light if it is white, or Factory Yellow / Warm Light if it is yellow. This selection is based on the original Porsche light color, not your preferred RGB setting.

Are these controlled through Porsche PCM?

No. The lighting modes are controlled by touching the light module or through the Lotus Lantern Bluetooth app. They are not presented as a PCM-controlled retrofit.

Do all lights change at the same time?

Yes. Once installed as a set, touching any light changes the other lights to the same mode.

Will they stay on and drain the battery?

The lights use the original footwell-light circuit rather than a separate always-on power connection, so their on/off behavior follows the vehicle’s factory interior-light system.
