Bluetooth app control

Connect with the Lotus Lantern app

Download the Lotus Lantern app and look for the multicolor icon with a white lotus symbol.

  1. Install the Lotus Lantern app.
  2. Switch on the footwell lights and turn on Bluetooth on your phone.
  3. Open the app near the vehicle. The app should automatically find and connect to the lights.
  4. Use the color wheel, brightness control and effect list to adjust the lighting.

If the displayed colors do not match

Open the gear icon in the upper-right corner, then go to Settings → Modify Pin Sequence. This may also appear as Adjust Line Sequence.

Set R to the third position, G to the second position and B to the first position. Tap Confirm or Save when finished.

Choose the version by the original light color

After confirming the factory footwell light measures 5.5 × 2.5 cm, switch it on and check its color.

Original light is white Select the Factory White Light version.
Original light is warm yellow Select the Factory Warm Yellow Light version.

Installation

Power and on/off behavior follow the original footwell-light circuit. Exact behavior may vary with the vehicle equipment and interior-light settings.

  1. Switch off the vehicle and allow the interior lights to turn off.
  2. Carefully remove the factory footwell light with a suitable trim tool.
  3. Release the retaining clip and disconnect the factory light.
  4. Connect the new LED footwell light and test it.
  5. Refit the replacement light in the original opening and repeat for the remaining positions.

Will these lights fit my Skoda Octavia or Superb?

Which original-light color should I select?

Choose Factory White Light if the factory footwell light produces white light, or Factory Warm Yellow Light if it produces warm yellow light. This selection is based on the factory light color, not your preferred RGB setting.

Do all installed lights change together?

Yes. Once installed as a set, changing the mode on one light changes the other installed lights to the same mode.

Will the replacement light stay on while driving?

The replacement uses the original footwell-light circuit. If the factory light does not stay on while driving, the replacement will follow the same original on/off behavior.
