Installation Tips
Wiring Reference: The wiring information below is for installation reference only.
Front Emblem Wiring
For 15 / 16 / 17 / 19 cm: White while driving.
Wiring Method: Connect the black wire to the negative terminal and the red wire to the positive terminal of the small light or headlight.
Rear Emblem Wiring
For 10 / 11 / 12 / 13 / 14 cm: White while driving; red when braking.
Wiring Method: Connect the black wire to the negative terminal, the red wire to the positive terminal of the driving light or license plate light, and the yellow wire to the positive terminal of the brake light.

- Flathead screwdriver
- Phillips screwdriver

Installation Steps
- Place a towel beside the trunk emblem. Lay a towel next to the car logo on the trunk. Then use a flathead screwdriver to pry the car logo. The towel helps prevent scratches on the car body.
- Remove the original emblem slowly. First, peel the double-sided tape away from the car body. Use moderate force when prying. Pry it off slowly, little by little, then clean the remaining double-sided tape from the original car logo area and the car body.
- Remove the trunk interior panel. Use a Phillips screwdriver to remove the partition inside the trunk. Some places may have clips. Carefully remove the sound-insulation board so you can see the wiring inside.
- Install the illuminated Toyota emblem. Pass the power wire of the car logo light through one of the car logo positioning holes and into the trunk compartment. Remove the single-sided tape on the back of the illuminated Toyota emblem. While pulling the wire through, attach the emblem light to the car body and press it firmly into place.
- Find the rear license plate light power connector. Connect the car logo light to the power supply of the rear license plate light. This allows the car logo light to turn on at the same time when the night light is turned on.
- Connect the positive and negative wires. Unplug the connector first. Carefully strip a small section of insulation from both the positive and negative wires to expose the wire core. Connect red to red and black to black, then wrap the connections with insulating tape. Finally, plug the connector back in and reinstall the trunk lid sound-insulation panel.
